Recruiters manually reviewed 200–400 resumes per vacancy. Initial screening took 3–4 days — by the time of the first call, the best candidates had already accepted offers from competitors. Scaling the team was impractical: the task is repetitive and requires no expertise.
The HR agency works with a flow of vacancies across multiple industries. Recruiters spent most of their working time on routine screening instead of focusing on live candidate interactions and building client relationships.
Solution
What We Built
We built a Telegram bot that conducts a structured dialog with each candidate: clarifying experience, motivation, salary expectations, and key vacancy requirements. After the dialog, the system ranks candidates by relevance and creates a shortlist with a brief summary for each. The recruiter receives the ready list and joins only for live interviews.
